Andrew Helmick
My name is Andrew! I am the owner and founder of Pride Fitness. I found my passion for helping others with their health and fitness while working at a Personal Training Studio after my professional football career. It was then I decided to move home and start a facility to help expand a vision I saw of building a community of people who encourage, support, and build each other up as they live their fittest life!
I graduated from Lindenwood University in 2015 with an undergraduate degree in Education Studies. While at Lindenwood, I played Wide Receiver for the football team. I was a selected as an All-Region player, one of the top 6 players in the country at my position. My name appears over 47 times in the record book, including numerous career (Receptions, Touchdowns, and Receiving Yards), Single Season, and Single Game. In 2018, I was inducted into Lindenwood’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
After my senior season, I went on to play professional football in the NFL for the St. Louis Rams. I also played professionally in the Arena Football League for the Tampa Bay Storm and Arizona Rattlers, where we won a League Championship.
Kelsey Nettles
My name is Kelsey! I am a health, fitness and donut enthusiast!
While being an NCAA DII swimmer, I studied and earned my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Nutrition. Since then, I have worked as a personal trainer/coach. I cannot think of a better career for myself!
I thoroughly enjoy helping others reach their fitness goals while also helping them find self-confidence and learning self-love, along the way!
I have competed in triathlons, half marathons and a former competitive bodybuilder. I am always working towards a new goal while learning and growing in the fitness industry.
Fitness is a lifestyle that can be fun and rewarding if done right and with balance!
Jeremy Harr
My name is Jeremy Harr and I am a Trainer at Pride and the head of our Speed School Program! I grew up with a passion for sports, health and fitness up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Football, Baseball, Basketball, and Track and Field were my specialties in high school. My passion for sports and desire for continued education brought me down to Kansas City to join the UMKC Track & Field program as a Jumper and Sprinter.
While at UMKC, I earned All-Conference honors in the Western Athletic Conference 9 times and set personal records in the long jump of over 7 meters and in triple jump of over 15 meters.
My passion has always been health, sports performance, and educating people on how to reach their goals!
